MONTANNA CAUBLE: I am writing this to inform you that this member is stealing work from Hubpages. I have reported her to Gather and Google, if you would like to see the original work that she has stolen you will find it at Nell Rose Hubpages see link below. I would suggest you check your own work to see if she has done it again with yours. http://hubpages.com/_3irgbjxgd6ylw/hub/Hubpages-I-would-Just-Like-To-Say-Thank-You

I have a question, but it's also a question others have asked. I've heard always, to never put up chapters or a whole book on any internet site, as it can easily get copied, stolen and published under another's name, generally with little changes and a different title. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks!

I still think one could be brought before a court for damages. And hey if it was that good. I would go to the publisher to show that I wrote it and ...I will write another. The thief opened a door that I didn't have to look for...right ?

Although that might happen it is probably safe to just put up a sample instead. I post poetry on my website and I really dont care if someone steals it because I dont think they would make money off it anyway. As far as a book, or chapters...just put enough to hook the reader.

This Conversation Space has been given for as long as she's willing to do this, to Deborah, Author of the book, STACCATO, for her to do a question and answer on how she got published or any other questions you may have about writing. All yours, Deborah! With much, much thanks from me. Please also read and comment on her Featured Post above, she's got a great post about the book, cover and a teaser :)

This group, First Time Writers and it also includes all kinds of poetry is to give people a place where they can express themselves with others who are also new and wish to try out their skills. A place that's friendly and no criticism is hurtful EVER, or even there unless asked for. Most people do ask for a critique, but that doesn't give one the right to rip them apart. Come and make this the "nice" peoples writer's place.
